Thanks for your feedback Michael and Sara!  Does anyone else have feedback or suggestions?

Michael – I agree, I don’t think Facebook is the popular option here, and less familiar with Vox, but its not known to be as secure.

I’m fine with Slack – but it’s more functionality than needed, so a bigger learning curve for those that don’t already use it… ultimately the selection is only as valuable as it enables easy engagement  (Slack would allow us to share more in-depth information like files and organize discussion by topic threads – so, sort of like real-time messaging + forums)

Sara – that’s a really good suggestion re: Signal:  if concerned about getting too many notifications, people could totally opt to download just on their desktop computer and use that as the place to manage this communication conveniently (and can always add to phone later if desired)

I think we should ‘rip the band-aid’ and jump in soon… we can always try one and adjust if it doesn’t suit us 🙂

If we don’t hear much more, I will pass along the feedback and ask Diana to help initiate something to get us started!
